Dr. Race is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology. At Tufts, she directs the ICoN lab and teaches a range of courses including Cognitive Neuroscience, Brain & Behavior, the graduate Core Course in Neuroscience, Introduction to Psychology, and a seminar entitled "Memory, Mental Simulation, & the Brain." Dr. Race received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Stanford University and her B.S. in Biology from Duke University. Following her Ph.D., Dr, Race completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Memory Disorders Research Center at the VA Boston Healthcare System.

Himanshu earned his B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. During his time at UCLA and working as a lab manager at UC Davis, he worked on a multitude of projects ranging from scaffolding of memory in older adults to modeling learning in the brain. Here at Tufts, he aims to continue his study of memory and the brain in older adults by looking for ways to tackle the cognitive deficits that comes with growing older as well as pursue his interest in the effects of technology on cognition to produce research that can be applied to the day to day lives of his subjects.
